The Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Cafe is located within the Epworth Medical Center, Camberwell. Developed for the Zouki Group the fit out enjoys natural light from both sides of the cafe delivering a bright, fresh feel for visitors. The choice of Alba Stone for this project was used for the entire counter, bench and workspace both front and rear. Furthermore, the material was also applied to the wall behind the counter from floor to ceiling delivering an extremely high quality finish.

White plaster walls complimented with custom plaster lighting that appear to be sinking into the walls provide an art work feel above a long material bench seat in grey tone chosen from the stone.

In what is a very mono tone palette, the timber look floor is made from a ceramic tile with a veneer top finish. This is complemented by cabinetry works around a drinks fridge linking the timber floor to behind the counter and maintaining a flow within the space.
